Vote for Miss Landmine 2008
Angola’s land mine victims will soon be competing for fame, glory and a custom-made prosthetic limb. Miss Landmine is a beauty pageant in which the contestants are local women, most of whom were injured either while working in their fields, or while fleeing from soldiers in the 80s and the 90s.

I think this ”Miss Landmine” contest is a great initiative as it shows that victims of landmines are mostly innocent just like these beautiful women…
